The CTV Olympic Consortium (disclosure – I work for CTV) has really gone above and beyond in their coverage of the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. So much so that even the New York Times has noticed in a recent article:

At the 2008 edition of Nuit Blanche this year, some of the artists that participated were not sanctioned.  While in the dog park at Trinity Bellwoods, I heard that there had been a guy who had climbed up a tree and that at midnight he was going to light the tree up wiht Pixie dust.  As luck would have it, I happened to be there at that time.  There were about 20 people gathered around the tree, and the artist began climbing the tree, in the pitch dark.  Being a …

I am lucky enough to be able to attend mesh 08, Canada’s premier web conference, as a contributor to the MeshTV group today and tomorrow.  Keynote presentations were given by Ethan Kaplan, Warner Bros. Back in 1993, I was visiting a friend’s condo, and on the way up decided to show the girl that was riding the elevator up with me what happens when you press the STOP button in the elevator and jump at the same time.
