The CTV Olympic Consortium (disclosure – I work for CTV) has really gone above and beyond in their coverage of the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. So much so that even the New York Times has noticed in a recent article:

I am lucky enough to be able to attend mesh 08, Canada’s premier web conference, as a contributor to the MeshTV group today and tomorrow.  Keynote presentations were given by Ethan Kaplan, Warner Bros. Originally aired during the 2007 Gemini’s, this funny video has upset Richard Homme, son of the Friendly Giant, who says that
“We’re sorry that this happened the way it did. It (the sketch) was particularly distasteful to people who had been involved with the show. The voices weren’t the original voices and the whole thing was kind of distasteful ” source
I can understand why he might be upset, but it’s still funny!
